How many of you are still using recipes from this 2006 Ennismore Curling Club cookbook? It was a special edition created in 2006 by Gail Turk and Kathy Reid to commemorate the unexpected passing of a very popular curler, Elaine Hughey. You may have one of the many copies that were sold. If you leaf through the recipes you will see names of past and even current curlers who donated recipes. Yes, some of us are still throwing rocks as well as baking.

So, why not get out your baking bowls and pans and bake up a storm for this year's bake goods table at our annual GARAGE SALE on July 19th and 20th? 

To get you started, here is a recipe from the cookbook by Reg and Pam Sinclair’s foodie daughter, Elizabeth, for Toffee Chocolate Almond Crunchies. Reg chooses these after he eats his large bowls of green salad. It's what makes him such a super curler able to crunch his competition !
