Thursday Night Open - 1st Half

A fun, mixed gender social league where people with varied curling skills and experience can come together for a great evening. Teams are created with an attempt to balance skill levels and experience levels.

The teams are changed up after Christmas for the second half of the season. This provides an opportunity to integrate new Learn-to-Curl graduates and give everyone a chance to get to know other members and experience different styles of play and skipping.  There is a popular social time after the games in the upstairs lounge.  After play, the Thursday Night League winning teams do not buy drinks for the losing team.  Teams take turns bringing snacks enough for all the teams.  This will be shown on the schedule and will happen once per half season for each team and we generally end the season with a pizza night, funded by the weekly 50/50 draw.
